Sunday 12 December 2011 - S.E. REGION ANNUAL CHRISTMAS LUNCH was held at the Kingswood Arms

Sunday 4 September 2011 - S.E. REGION ANNUAL RALLY was held at SHEFFIELD PARK & GARDEN EAST SUSSEX

This National Trust property offered something for everyone. Wonderful gardens originally laid out by Capability Brown and the amazing Bluebell Railway were both within easy walking distance - and of course the display of fine Wolseleys.

Monday 11 July 2011 SUMMER EVENING RUN
By popular demand, once again our July monthly meeting at the Woolpack, Banstead, was replaced with a road run of about one hour ending at a traditional British pub for refreshment. An interesting drive was enjoyed along delightful country scenic lanes.

Sunday 12 June 2011 - BROMLEY PAGEANT OF MOTORING - members and visitors from as far away as Australia were welcomed to the stand.

Wolseleys on display on Drive It Day 2011

On a perfect day, 11 Wolseleys made their way from various directions to the South Downs Nurseries at Hassocks, to line up for a wonderful display. The group assembled on the periphery of the Nursery car park where they were joined by a Morris 8 and a Hillman Minx. Visitors to the Nurseries strolled over to admire the cars and talk to the owners. As usual some reminisced about their own family Wolseleys from times past.

The Nurseries had a wide range of plants and equipment; a good cafeteria for those who did not bring a picnic and a quite wonderful museum of bygones, tools, agricultural machinery and domestic wares, plus a fascinating display of items related to Magnus Volk, the local inventor who built his 'Volks Electric Railway' along the Brighton sea front in 1883.
