Wolseley JO'GLE (John O'Groats to Lands End) in aid of 'Help for Heroes'
Three teams incorporating a 1954 Wolseley 4/44, a 1964 Wolseley 1500, and 1967 Wolseley 18/85 reached John O'Groats on 12th August for the start of the JO'GLE in aid of 'Help for Heroes'. Please see http://www.justgiving.com/wolseley-jogle for full details, and online donation capability. All three cars have since arrived at Lands End on 17th August, having passed through the Wolseley UK Headquarters at Ripon on Friday, the Wolseley National Rally at Rugeley Stafford over the weekend, and Wootton Bassett on the Monday. Since setting off from Preston on Tuesday the 10th August, the cars have travelled approx 1,650 miles with the return to base journey yet to be completed after a spell of recuperation. All three Wolseleys used for the JO'GLE were extremely reliable, we only undertook general maintenance and changed a couple minor maintenance parts on the route. We would most definitely recommend that anyone thinking about buying a classic car to 'Buy Wisely, Buy Wolseley' and join the Wolseley Register for fun and friendship.
We have raised over £5,176 for Help for Heroes so far undertaking the JO'GLE and donations are still coming in. Our target is £5,000. Anyone wishing to donate, can do so at http://www.justgiving.com/wolseley-jogle.
