The Wolseley Register in the North West
The New Year Coastal Road Run
The Wolseley Register - North West Region's, first road run of 2010 will be taking place on Sunday 10th January 2010.
The starting point for this will be, Guys Thatched Hamlet at Bilsborrow, Nr Garstang. The start time will be 10am-10.30am for an 11am off.
We will be heading towards Fleetwood, then following the West Coast Road towards the Las Vegas of the North, Blackpool, proceeding along the Victorian promenade and heading towards the picturesque Lytham St. Anne's, before heading inland again and finishing at the 'New' Barton Grange Garden Centre(on the A6) for afternoon tea and a chat. Total distance is approximately 50 miles. There will be a small charge of £2 per car which will be going towards Regional funds.
Some of you may be a little wary of using your Wolseley if the weather is inclement, but not to worry as you are more than welcome to come along in your modern car. It will just be great to see you all.
