11-13 November 2011 - Footman James Classic Motor Show, NEC Birmingham

Wolseley 6/90 designed by Gerald Palmer

The Wolseley Register was chiefly celebrating the centenary of the birth of designer, Gerald Palmer at this 3-day popular indoor show. Three excellent condition Wolseley cars were displayed with Register Members, including the owners of the Wolseley 1100 pictured below, on hand daily to answer the many questions from visitors to the stand. Members from all over England; Scotland; Ireland; Wales and as far away as New Zealand were welcomed to the stand, which was constantly busy.

Regalia sales were brisk and 3 new members joined the Register over the week-end.

Register Members' cars were also exhibited on multi-marque club stands, such as the 18/85 below which had been a prize-winner at this year's Landcrab Club's National Rally:

Thanks to all who manned and visited the Register stand during the 3-day event. At the 2012 Show, it is planned to display a selection of the cars which will have taken part in the Jubilee Tour of Britain earlier in the year.

5-6 November 2011 - Footman James Classic Vehicle Restoration Show, Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallett, Somerset

Many members and visitors were welcomed to the Wolseley Register stand. The exhibit was a 1934 Wolseley 9hp which is having a lightweight aluminium body specially designed and constructed for it by Register member, Barnes Hummerstone. Barnes is immensely proud of his work and was on hand all week-end to answer the many queries from admiring visitors to the stand.

10-12 September 2011 - Beaulieu International Autojumble

The Wolseley Register was represented on stand 882 in the Red field. Members and visitors from all over the UK, Australia, Canada, USA, Norway, Germany, Switzerland and Ireland were welcomed the stand, making it a truly international event.

13-14 August 2011 National Rally Week-End

The National Rally was again held in the lovely setting of the grounds of Hawkesyard Hall, Rugeley, Staffordshire.

Saturday 27 November 2010 - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Members enjoyed the opportunity to visit the collection of vehicles and memorabilia during the morning.
